Terms of Use
Riky AI Terms of Use · Effective: 31 July 2026 · Version 1.0
These terms are a contract between you and RIKY LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 16331323, registered office Spectrum House, 2b Suttons Lane, Hornchurch, Essex, England, RM12 6RJ) ("Riky", "we"). They govern the Riky AI apps (iOS, Android, desktop) and related services. Contact: support@riky.ai.
Plain-English summaries appear in boxes like this one. The full clause governs.
The short version: Riky is an AI assistant. AI can be wrong — check anything that matters. Be 16 or older. Don't use Riky to harm people. You own what you make; don't make unlawful things. Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Your statutory consumer rights are never taken away by these terms.
1. Who we are and how to reach us
RIKY LIMITED operates Riky AI. Questions, complaints, and claims: support@riky.ai. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days.
2. Agreeing to these terms; changes
You accept these terms by ticking the box at sign-up (we log the time and terms version) or, for existing accounts, by continuing to use Riky after we notify you of a new version. If a change is material and to your detriment, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and you may end your account without penalty before it takes effect; if you have prepaid for a period, we will refund the unused part pro rata.
3. Who can use Riky
- You must be at least 16. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms on your behalf.
- Purchases, subscriptions, and credit top-ups require you to be 18 or over.
- You need an account, accurate details, and you must keep your credentials safe. One account per person; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Riky is currently an invite-only beta in some regions; invite codes control account creation. We don't offer Riky in mainland China.
4. What Riky is
Riky AI is an AI assistant: chat and coaching conversations (including optional check-ins), an agents catalogue, scheduled automations, project and task tools, knowledge uploads, web search inside chat, calendar links and connected calendars (§14), team workspaces (§11), and Studio, which generates images and video. AI responses are produced by third-party AI models (providers named in our Privacy Policy at https://riky-legal.pages.dev/privacy); your use of Riky must also respect those providers' acceptable-use requirements, which we pass through in §9.
Beta: features may change, break, or be withdrawn; we may reset or delete beta data with notice in the app (§15).
5. AI outputs — read this section
You are interacting with artificial intelligence, not a human. Riky tells you this in the app the first time you chat, and it stays true everywhere in Riky.
- AI can be confidently wrong. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or biased. Verify before you rely on anything.
- No professional advice. Nothing Riky produces is legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and no professional–client relationship is created. For decisions that matter, consult a qualified professional.
- Coaching features are motivational and organisational aids only — not therapy, counselling, or medical care.
- Riky's AI speaks for itself, not for us. Anything Riky's AI tells you about Riky itself — plans, prices, features, or these terms — is generated content and can be wrong. It is not a promise or representation by RIKY LIMITED and does not change these terms, our published prices, or our policies; if it conflicts with these terms or the in-app plans screen, the terms and plans screen prevail. If Riky's AI tells you something about your account or billing that matters, check with support@riky.ai. CPRs + CRA limit how far a trader can disclaim its own bot's misstatements about its own products to consumers — solicitor to confirm scope.*
- Automations and agents act on your instructions. Review what a scheduled agent or automation is configured to do; you are responsible for actions you set in motion. Agents and automations are covered in detail in §8.
- Web search results and links shown in chat come from the open web. They are third-party content we do not control or endorse; linked sites have their own terms and privacy policies.
- Similar prompts can produce similar outputs for other users; outputs may resemble third-party content. Check before you use outputs commercially (§7).
6. Your content
"Your content" = what you submit (prompts, messages, uploads, knowledge files) and the outputs Riky generates for you.
- You own your content. We claim no ownership. To run the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, display, and back up your content — only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service, and subject to the Privacy Policy. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for lawful retention described in the Privacy Policy.
- We do not use your content to train AI models, and our provider configuration is set so providers may not either — see the Privacy Policy for exact per-provider status.
- You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload.
- Feedback on replies (e.g. rating a response and giving a reason) is voluntary. We use it to evaluate and improve service quality.
- Teams: if you join a team workspace, content you put in shared team surfaces (shared projects, team check-ins, approvals) is visible to your team's members and administrators as shown in the app. Your private chats stay private to you.
7. AI-generated media (Studio)
- Studio outputs are yours to use, subject to these terms and the generating provider's terms. You are responsible for how you use them.
- Provenance marking: Studio outputs may carry machine-readable marks identifying them as AI-generated (e.g. watermarks or content credentials embedded by the generator). You must not remove, hide, or tamper with these marks. EU law requires marking of synthetic media; if you present realistic AI media of real people, places, or events, you must make its artificial origin clear.
- Characters and reference images: Studio lets you save reusable characters and supply reference or start-frame images. Only upload images you have the right to use; images of a real person require that person's consent, and intimate imagery of a real person without consent is a zero-tolerance breach (§9).
- Studio quality lanes differ: some clips are premium generations and some are fast drafts; your plan's monthly allotments for each are shown in the app (§11).
- Do not generate media of a real person in a way that misleads others into thinking it is genuine, without clear disclosure.
8. Agents and automations
The short version: you can set Riky agents to act for you — including while you're away. What they do counts as your instruction. You can stop them any time. They can get things wrong, so check what they did. They never spend your money.
Acting on your instructions ("Agent Actions"). Some Riky features take actions for you: scheduled agents and automations that run while you are away, and integrations that act on connected services — for example creating calendar events (§14). We call these Agent Actions. By configuring or starting such a feature you instruct and authorise Riky to carry out those actions without asking you again before each one. Each Agent Action is treated as your instruction, and you are responsible for Agent Actions under your account — including runs that happen while you are not watching.
- You stay in control. You can view, edit, pause, or delete any scheduled agent or automation at any time in the app. Stopping takes effect for future runs; a run already in progress may complete first.
- Agent Actions may not work as you intended. They can fail, run late, repeat, do something different from what you asked, or produce wrong results, and safety mechanisms are not guaranteed. Review the configuration before enabling it and check important results afterwards; do not rely on an Agent Action's outcome without verifying it (§5).
- Riky is a tool, not your representative. Riky acts only on your configuration and instructions. Using agents or automations creates no advisory, fiduciary, professional, or agency relationship between you and Riky (§5).
- No spending, no high-stakes automation. Riky's agents and automations do not make purchases, payments, or other financial transactions on your behalf, and you must not use them for automated decisions or transactions prohibited by §9. confirmation and re-review this section first — FCA guidance treats automatic execution without per-action client consent as portfolio management in an investment context, and market practice (Google agentic checkout) bounds any agent purchase by a user-confirmed total.*
Community and third-party agents. The agents catalogue includes third-party and open-source agents. They are provided as-is: we do not author, verify, or endorse them; the underlying third-party licence governs your use, and attribution or licence obligations pass through to you where applicable. Names of third-party agents do not imply endorsement by their creators.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use Riky to:
- break the law, or generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction;
- create sexual content involving minors, or intimate imagery of a real person without their consent — zero tolerance, immediate termination, and reporting to authorities where required;
- harass, defame, threaten, or incite harm;
- generate malware, or plan or facilitate serious harm to people, property, or systems;
- infringe others' IP or privacy rights;
- mislead others that AI output is human-made or genuine where that matters (§7), or conceal that AI is acting for you in an interaction where that matters;
- probe, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, resell access, or evade usage limits, invite gates, or safety filters;
- direct an agent or automation (§8) to interact with a third-party service in breach of that service's terms — including restrictions on automated access — or to bypass another platform's security, anti-bot, or content protections;
- make automated decisions without human review that have legal or similarly significant effects on a person (for example decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, education, immigration, or essential services), or automate trading or other investment transactions;
- violate the acceptable-use terms of the underlying model providers.
We may filter, refuse, or remove content and may suspend accounts for breach (§17).
10. Reporting content and blocking
Report harmful or offensive AI output or catalogue content from within the app or to support@riky.ai. We review reports promptly and act where warranted (removal, filtering, account action). You can hide or block community agents from your workspace. 2) — build gate.*
11. Subscriptions, payments, credits
(Riky is free during the beta. This section applies from the moment paid plans go live.)
- Plans and pricing are shown at purchase. Current plans: Free (£0), Starter (£10/month), Pro (£25/month), Studio (£90/month). Annual billing is available for paid plans at ten times the monthly price — 12 months for the price of 10 (Starter £100/year, Pro £250/year, Studio £900/year). Consumer prices include VAT. Each plan's usage allowances (messages, web searches, image and video generations) are shown on the plans screen.
- Riky Teams (for businesses and other organisations): seats are billed per team member at £65 per seat per month, excluding VAT, monthly only, via our payment processor on the web (not through the app stores). By creating a team you confirm you are purchasing for business purposes. The team owner is responsible for seat management and for ensuring members may lawfully participate.
- Where you buy matters. Purchases made in the iOS app are billed by Apple through your Apple account and managed/cancelled in your Apple subscription settings; purchases in the Android app are billed by Google Play and managed there; purchases on our website are billed by our payment processor (Stripe) and managed in Riky settings. Store purchases follow the store's refund process; statutory rights are unaffected in all channels.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. Cancel any time with effect from the end of the current period. Cancelling online is as easy as subscribing. We will send renewal reminders where required by law.
- Price changes take effect no earlier than your next renewal, with at least 30 days' notice and a clear route to cancel first.
- Cooling-off (web purchases): you have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase for a full refund. For digital services supplied immediately, we ask for your express consent to start supply at purchase and your acknowledgement that you lose the cooling-off right in respect of what has been supplied; if you cancel within 14 days we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service already provided.
- Usage limits and credits: plans include usage allowances; any credit top-ups are consumed on use, are not currency, and are non-transferable. We may apply fair-use safeguards to prevent abuse.
- 18+ only for all purchases (§3).
12. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer, digital content and services we supply must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality, and you have remedies (repair, replacement, price reduction, refund) under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or your local equivalent. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, and nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
13. Our IP
Riky's apps, branding, and technology are ours or our licensors'. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the apps for their intended purpose. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation.
14. Third-party services and connected accounts
Riky depends on third-party AI providers, app stores, and infrastructure. Their availability is outside our control, and their terms apply to their services. When using Riky you must also comply with any applicable third-party terms (for example your mobile network's data agreement).
Connected accounts (e.g. Google or Microsoft calendars). You can connect third-party accounts to Riky — for example so Riky can add events to your calendar. You authorise Riky to access a connected account only to do what you ask in the app (including through agents and automations you configure, §8), and you can disconnect at any time in Settings or by revoking Riky's access with the provider. Only connect accounts that are yours; you are responsible for understanding the access you grant and for revoking it when you no longer need it. Once information is passed to the provider at your instruction, the provider's terms and privacy policy govern it; how we handle connected-account data is described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or remove a connection where we reasonably need to (for example for security reasons or because the provider changes or withdraws its service).
Never type passwords or payment-card details into a chat. Riky connects to other services through the provider's own secure sign-in (OAuth); we do not ask for your passwords, and anything typed into a chat is processed as ordinary chat content.
15. Availability and beta status
We work to keep Riky available but do not promise uninterrupted service. Beta features, data structures, and allowances may change; we may reset or delete beta data before public launch with reasonable notice in the app. Export what you need.
16. Liability
Subject to §12 (which always prevails):
- We are not liable for losses caused by your reliance on AI output without verification (§5), by an Agent Action faithfully carrying out the configuration and instructions you set (§8), by your breach of these terms, or by events outside our reasonable control.
- We are not liable for business losses — loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or business data — where you use Riky in the course of business.
-
For paid users, our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the greater of £100 and the amount you paid us in that period; for free use, at £100.
-
If you use Riky in breach of §9 and a third party brings a claim against us because of that breach, you will compensate us for reasonable losses arising — this does not apply to consumers where such a term would be unfair under applicable law.
17. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time in Settings (data handling per the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, create risk for other users or the service, or where required by law — with notice and a chance to respond except in serious cases (e.g. §9 zero-tolerance items, security threats). If we terminate without cause, we refund any prepaid unused period pro rata.
18. Apple App Store terms (iOS users)
These additional terms apply when you obtained Riky through Apple's App Store and are required by Apple:
- Parties. These terms are between you and RIKY LIMITED only — not Apple. Riky, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Licence scope. Your licence to the iOS app is non-transferable, limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, and subject to the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (including Family Sharing access where applicable).
- Maintenance and support. Riky, not Apple, is responsible for maintenance and support (contact §1). Apple has no obligation to provide any.
- Warranty. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims are Riky's responsibility.
- Product claims. Riky, not Apple, is responsible for addressing your or any third party's claims relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory non-conformity, and consumer-protection or privacy claims.
- IP claims. Riky, not Apple, is responsible for any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
- Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated a "terrorist supporting" country, and are not on any U.S. Government prohibited or restricted parties list.
- Developer contact. RIKY LIMITED, Spectrum House, 2b Suttons Lane, Hornchurch, Essex, England, RM12 6RJ, support@riky.ai.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app (§14).
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
19. Google Play terms (Android users)
Where you obtained Riky through Google Play, Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app; Google Play's own terms of service and refund policies apply to your download and any purchases billed by Google Play.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of your home country's mandatory consumer laws and may bring proceedings in your home courts. If you live in the UK or EU, you may also be able to use local alternative dispute resolution.
21. General
If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Failing to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these terms; we may transfer them to a successor of our business with your protections preserved. These terms plus the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about Riky. Version history at https://riky-legal.pages.dev/terms.
